haha no need to apologize, I appreciate the question girlie!
I wish I could give you more of a motivational answer, but honestly I tend to struggle with this frequently, too. I’ll give it a shot though!
Lately I’ve grown pretty fond of lists. Michael’s parents got me a really nice planner for my birthday, and getting those due dates in there way in advance and writing in what I want to accomplish each day (usually every Sunday) has REALLY helped me. Divvying up all my work and accomplishing little bits every day makes it not seem so terrible once the due/exam date does creep up on me!
Getting home and spending time with loved ones really pushes me too. If I know there’s a chance I can get home a certain date, the thought of having a bunch of school work to do while home deters me from wanting to bring work home to begin with, aka procrastinate! So maybe taking into consideration plans you make with your friends/people you love, and thinking about wanting to fully enjoy their presence, your mind free from the tug of stressful, icky school work, could help. Also, just talking to those that support you regularly and feeling their positive vibes and encouragement could be motivating too! Texts from my Mommy and Michael’s sweet voice tends to do the trick for me :)
My last little tidbit that usually helps me, working out! Though falling into a pattern of thinking that the gym is something you may not have time for may be easy to do, it really is stress relieving. Making time has helped me (i.e. writing times/group exercise classes I want to go to in my planner, in addition to schoolwork). Working out tends to energize me, and I find that when I do I’ll focus better later, and with much more of a positive attitude.
