always love

"There's no end to the story. We are all stories, layers and layers of stories. We are vessels for stories. Put them all together, they make a new story, but blink, and the story changes again. That's the best thing about them."

Monday Check-In, 2/27

Obsessing Over: Last night, the toddler in pigtails dancing to Fleet Foxes in the coffee shop, not a care existing in her world. Her curious little body running around the place had her dad with dreads on edge. Cutest little family.

Working On: Nothing at the moment. In a couple of hours here though, I’ll be interviewing the Health Services Coordinator of Hanover County public schools on food allergies for a community health project. I’m slightly nervous.

Thinking About: I’ve been feeling lonely lately. I’ve got quite a bit to accomplish before not this Saturday, but next, when I’ll finally be able to head home for spring break.

Anticipating: How fond I plan on getting of the scenery along Monument Avenue. This past Saturday Regina and I had woken up early and ventured out in search for a Farmer’s Market for one of her classes. I fell in love with my surroundings. Morning joggers were extraordinarily nice, spreading good mornings like smiles. The houses lining the street were all beautifully unique in their own ways, and so fun to look at. There were people walking dogs, elderly women all bundled up catching up on their week’s happenings… I could go on. I’m going to start running outside along this street instead of at the gym, especially more that the weather’s getting nicer.

Listening To: The soft sound of the fan humming from within my computer. Our apartment window’s cracked, so there’s the sound of cars passing by too, and an occasional honk.

Drinking: Zilch.

Wishing: Praying that later this week goes well.
